BACKGROUND
Robin Turner was born an entrepreneur and began his entrepreneurial journey at a very young age. In his youth, his products were bunnies and his end goal was his first horse -far different from his multiple business ventures today -but the vigor and intensity with which he approached his first venture has been the same since day one.

From those early days, he developed a keen understanding of supply and demand, the audiences with whom he was developing relationships, and of course, an unbridled determination to be successful. That drive for success has seen him through decades of exciting entrepreneurial ventures ranging from fair and event management to the creation of WonderWorks and beyond.

Armed with the knowledge gained at Disney, Robin embarked on a new journey into the entertainment industry. Catching a ride with the James E. Strates Show, he became part of the last remaining outdoor amusement companies to travel by railroad.

Embracing the excitement of new adventures, Robin turned his attention from outdoor amusement to the ocean. He engineered the renovation of the Cocoa Pier, turning it from a fishing pier to a world-class tourist attraction. Robin took his experience from the Cocoa Beach Pier renovation and also redeveloped the Cocoa Expo Sports Complex. Utilizing his honed skills for the management of large crowds and events, Robin founded Fair Management Corporation to manage large events and state and local fairs. Fair Management has facilitated over 400 events and has risen to be the leading management company in the industry.

In 1998, as the founder, owner and Chief Executive Officer, he developed, executed and led the creation of the WonderWorks brand. These family oriented attractions combine education, interactive displays and affordable quality entertainment. WonderWorks has five locations in the southeastern and northeastern regions of the United States. Annually, each WonderWorks attraction entertains and provides recreational and educational experiences for over 400,000 guests. These full service facilities also offer food service and retail items.

Robin and his wife DeAnn are active volunteers and philanthropists in their community. Both have served on the Leadership Sevier Advisory Board. Robin has also served on the Florida State Fair Advisory Board, where he served with Chairman George Steinbrenner.
